A Warm Word of Welcome...
Welcome; friends, members of PAIOC, potential members of PAIOC, enemies, Bob the Milkman, and Inanimate Objects.
You may be wondering what the purpose of this seemingly useless club is? Well, first, let us spend some time with our friend, The Dictionary.
Protection: defend from trouble, harm, or loss
Against: in opposition or contrast to
Inanimate: not living
Object: physical thing
Club: association of people with common interests, thick stick used as a weapon.
By these defenitions, we can now put a defenition, or at least a temporary one, to PAIOC. PAIOC is an association of people who defend in opposition to, with thick sticks, not living, physical things.
By this token, it should be obvious that we are against inanimate objects. Well, what have they ever done to us? you exclaim! For more information on such things, please visit Elizabeth's blog.
Important matters such as these will, at a later date, be posted, but, for now, please understand that this website is under construction. In the future, we hope to have an 'inanimate object to watch out for this month' in the sidebar, profiling a particularly dangerous IO for a specific month. Also there are plans to have a members list, and possibly even a mailing list, reminding you to come and check this blog regularly, as IO's will stop at nothing to get you. If you would like to be a member, please comment on this post. Even if you have volunteered in the past, please do so again, as a list was not compiled before.
Thankyou
and beware! they are watching you, always thinking up new and destructive ways to get you!

woah i really need to change that pic lol
there we go! yay! lol... it looks like we have heaps of members now, coz after i write this there'll be 4 comments! yay!! haha even though i wrote 3/4 of them... *cough* i'm not boread at all!!
We're digging up the logo as we speak!!! I seem to have lost it, but BRILLIANT as we are, Sez has one in her diary!!! AHAHAH! Elude that IOs!!!
lol lucky then that u drew another one!
im considering joining, but i need to know the threat that these inanimate objects pose before i make any rash descisions...
Ah well, then read relevant articles on our blogs! Where to begin...stocking, straws, schoolbags!!! The list is endless!

hey guys i decided to join your site ... i think it had something to do with subliminal messages... anywayz my name's lauren
aaaaaaaaargggghhhh!!!!!! we have a whole box of straws just WAITING to get me. i have to make sure that no one puts them in any fluids. ARGH.
i'll join! i could meet a premature demise without it!
hahaha, THANKS GUYS!! :D:D yay go subliminal messages ;o) we are stronger united! :D lol
haha go the messages that mess with ur mind!!
haha yeah :P
uh huh... i guess to join this club you take a vow of not using these inanimate objects? that would seem fitting...
but then, why are you using a computer, also inanimate? seems a bit hypocritical to me
not really, because firstly we don't take a vow of not using them. many of these objects are essential for every day life, eg schoolbags and shoelaces. unfortunately stockings must be worn on occastion, so it is also impossible to avoid these too. it would be foolish to take a vow of not using-ness, because it would make life far more difficult. this club is not for the prevention of such objects, instead it is for protection against them. there is a difference.
yeah we only make sacrifical vows... wait wrong blog damn thats MTs blog... damn goats lol!
well yes neway no vows we need these things but we curse them at the same time!
Because by using a computer to serve our own purposes, we are thwarting it in its attempts to waylay us on our technological journey. It is resistance, not retreat!
so... its the protection against SOME inanimate objects?
It's protection against the dangers they pose, and thwarting their attempts to cause pain, suffering, and most importantly: inconvenience!!!
Note: Clever avoidance of question
all things considered, I'd like to join.
